Description:  Throughout the work with a client, workers are put in a position to make many different decisions.    This course is directed towards supervisors in how to encourage staff to make rational decisions rather than ones based on bias and/or assumptions.

Learning Objectives: After successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe an evidenced based decision making process for staff to follow

  • Describe influences that negatively impact a worker’s ability to make quality decisions

  • Identify tools and process that can create structure to encourage staff to think through issues to make positive decisions about their cases
